Missions

The people of Eden Chapel reach out in many ways to share the good news of Jesus Christ,
both at home and around the world. Below are some ongoing projects that Eden Chapel supports.

 Drive to Thrive

Our Drive to Thrive mission seeks to brighten the lives of those living at our local assisted living center as well as local shut-ins. The group treats the residents to a monthly social time featuring cupcakes and other goodies and small gifts. Smiles, stories, and encouragement abound to bring joy to both the residents and members of Drive to Thrive.

Love Bears

The Love Bears ministry brings together joyful sewers and stuffers on Wednesday afternoons to make small bears. These bears are distributed to hospitals, law enforcement agencies, shelters for battered persons, foster homes, camps, and other agencies. They help distribute the bears to people of all ages who need a little cheering up or something to cling to and reassurance of God’s love.

Anyone in the community is welcome to be a part of the Love Bears crew.

Noisy Buckets

The last Sunday of each month is Noisy Buckets Sunday at Eden Chapel. At the beginning of the service people are welcome to drop their change in the buckets and “make some noise.” Donations go to support a different mission each month. Missions range from global projects such as drilling water wells in India to providing socks and diapers for local foster children.
